I gave Forrest my feedback on the one game I saw last weekend, for me the biggest thing was I think we tinkered too much with our starting lineup, and our substitution patterns did not make any sense to me at all. And in addition to just playing overall lazy soccer.

Part of what we’re working through is that I feel we don’t know our staring 6, 8, and 10 - just yet. I think after this weekend we’ll have a clearer picture. Subs were a bit weird all weekend. Based mostly on fatigue more than anything else—and fatigue is a by product of our attack/turnover/recovery cycle that repeats more often than I would like. And yes, we had no fire in the belly on Sunday. Wish you had seen Saturday (1-0) loss to the Silver Elite team. I think we played much better than Sunday, were more competitive for sure, and just lacking the finish on our chances. We could have won that game. I’ll be curious to see how the energy is this weekend.
